Is it possible to generate multiple documents from a single consultation?
Absolutely—and that’s the key strength of Active Consult. Once the consultation is finished, you can select all the documents you want to generate:

Do I need to change the way I conduct my consultations to use Active Consult?
No. But you can get ready for this new approach.
Here are two simple habits to adopt right now:
1: Speak with the “summary” in mind.
Say out loud what you’re already explaining to the patient: “You have an apical lesion on 46…” Your explanation will become clearer, more educational, and—bonus—more helpful for the patient.
2: Rephrase your decisions.
When you make a diagnosis, propose an option, or decide on a course of action, say it out loud. Not for the AI, but for your patient. It’s the best way to stay aligned—and to have a clean document at the end.
Is consultation recording legal?
That was the first question we asked ourselves. The answer is clear: It's 100% legal and you don't need to get your patient to sign anything.
All you have to do is warn him orally: “To improve your follow-up, our firm uses technology that automatically generates reports from our conversation.”
Is my data secure?
Safety is an essential pillar at Askara.
Your data is:
- Secured
- Hosted in France
- On HDS servers (standard for health data)
- No non-medical treatment is applied
- No data is broadcast outside of the application
Can I use it on my computer and phone?
We strongly advise against using the Active Consult feature from your phone.
Here’s why:
- Insufficient microphone quality: even on recent phones, the microphones often struggle to clearly capture your voice, especially at a distance or in a clinical environment. This results in missing or misinterpreted words.
- Risk of recording interruptions: if your phone screen goes to sleep or if another app opens, the recording may stop without you realizing it. You think everything is being recorded, but it’s not—and you lose everything.
- Less reliable, less comfortable: the experience is simply less smooth, less stable, and you may have to start over.
For the best experience with Active Consult, we recommend using a computer with a microphone. You’ll gain clarity, security, and peace of mind.

You can import your patients from Julie and Logos. We are currently working on the integration with Weclever which will be coming soon.
